Baptism
BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS is held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Saint Joseph Church, 200 Carlton Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882.
BAPTISMS are held the second Saturday of each month at 11:30am at Saint Joseph Church, 200 Carlton Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882.

Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is usually first received by a child during their second year of Religious Education. Those who are older and have not yet made their first Confession are asked to please contact the Parish Office so that preparation and arrangements can be made.
Our ordinary schedule for Confessions is Saturdays from 4:00-4:45pm or upon request or by appointment.
Eucharist
First Holy Communion is usually first received by a child during their second year of Religious Education. Those who are older and have not yet received their First Holy Communion are asked to please contact the Parish Office so that preparation and arrangements can be made.
Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is usually administered by a bishop to those young men and women in the Eighth Grade who have met the necessary requirements of preparation for the reception of this sacrament. Those who are beyond the Eighth Grade and have not yet been Confirmed are asked to contact the parish so that the necessary preparations and arrangements can be made for the reception of this sacrament.
Anointing of the Sick
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is administered by priests at time that death is approaching, prior to surgery and to the elderly and infirm. Please contact the parish if you or a family member has need of this sacrament.
Matrimony
If you are planning on entering into the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony, please contact the parish about one year in advance to begin your preparations. Please contact the parish at anytime if you have questions concerning this sacrament and/or about the preparation needed.
Holy Orders
Those men who might be discerning a call to priesthood or the diaconate (deacon) are encouraged to contact Father James who can meet with them and then, if desired at that time, put them in touch with the Vocations Director of our diocese.
